The flail mounting bush is a precision spacer that sits between the flail blade and the mounting components on the rotor. It keeps the flail correctly spaced, which reduces vibration, protects the rotor bearings, and keeps the cut even across the full rotor width. Running worn or missing bushes accelerates wear on the mounting hardware and rotor assembly.
Service intervals differ by mower family:
- On Trimax Flaildek and Ezeemow models, fit a new bolt, bush, and nyloc nut each time a flail is replaced
- On Trimax Warlord and Force models, fit a new nyloc nut each time a flail is replaced. Replace the bolt only if the bolt head or threads are damaged
- 10mm bore for Trimax flail mounting hardware
